The month began nicely, with lunch with our quite new Archbishop, Msgr. Guy Desrochers.

We made some slight changes to the celebration of Mass, to adapt to our numbers. Changing our / clocks for daylight savings time brought a few more surprises than usual this year, which is perhaps not a bad thing.

Father Bede continues well in his seniors’ residence, and Brother Leo in his.

One of the first female cooks to be engaged by us (a bit revolutionary at the time) dropped by to say hello and refreshed those memories of the community of old, and Calvaire kitchens.

A gentleman from the north of the province expressed interest in our apple juice-making process and hopes to drop by to see the rig…which requires a connection to a little tractor, to run.

We maintained full Paschal / Holy Week celebrations this year,  and it was a blessing.
